Ludum Dare is a regular game development challenge posted online, where all assets must be made solo within 48 hours. A jam is held at the same time, going on for 24 hours longer than the main competition and with less strict rules over content creation. Smaller Mini-LD challenges are also held between the main Ludum Dare contests, where different rules can apply.
